Continuing on with our adventures on Saturday. Mike and his coworker and another gentleman who got roped into helping, proceed to bring all this furniture up. (As you can see in the pics I previously posted). So now comes the “fun” part. Putting it all together.
We proceed to begin with the sectional (that was a bonus as it wasn’t expected for 2 to 3 weeks). Starting picture below.
Now the instructions are really just pictures. No German needed here. But there are a lot of pieces and to make things more interesting, they have screw holes you can’t see till you look inside. Like literally inside the bottom. No pre-drilled help me holes. So after about an hour of trying to figure out how A goes into B we figure this out. Well Mike does. I’m just moral support at this point.
So he proceeds to put all these pieces together and Voila! We have a functioning sectional that also doubles as 2 beds.
Over here space is at a premium so having multiple bedrooms comes at a price. So to compensate furniture is very multi purpose. All the furniture we purchased has this in mind. The sectional can sleep 3. The couch for the 2nd bedroom can sleep 2 and the lounger for the loft folds out to sleep 1. So we have room for 6 to sleep without having set up a single bed. And each of these pieces has storage space for the bedding required. (Those will happen on Sunday – at least ours)
Pictures below of what has been set up.

And here is a picture of the 2nd bedroom couch that has doubled as our bed for the last 2 weeks:

That’s all for today – Till Tomorrow Bis morgen.
